Layout Name: The "Cheshire, Prospect & Wolcott RR". Layout yet to be built.

Year Started: Purchased my 1st LGB starter set during the Christmas season of 1981.

Scale : I mostly concentrate in "G" scale, with an interest in European narrow gauge in 1.22 but do have American equipment in 1.24 and 1.29 scales. I do have a fair amount of "HO" gauge trains and limited amounts of "N" and "O-27" gauge trains.

Equipment Description: Mostly LGB European composed of, Stanz steam engines; Small complement of 2 axle diesels and electric locomotives;
RhB "Crocodile" electric locomotive; Reasonable amount of 2 axle freight and passenger cars; Some American style 4 axle cars.

Other American style trains are made up of from Bachmann Trains (0-4-0 and a 4-6-0 steam engines) and a small assortment of freight cars; a Hartland Locomotive Works "Mack" diesel with a couple of their value-line cars; a USA Trains 44 Toner and GP9 "New Haven" diesels with a couple pieces of their rolling stock and an Aristo-Craft 0-4-0 steam engine with a couple pieces of their freight cars.

Layout Description: For an indoor layout I am planning on taking our existing module standard and reducing it to more manageable width, length and weight. My thought is to be able to make a standard size module that can support either a "G" gauge or "O-27" gauge layout. An outdoor layout will be constructed in the near future.

How often I run my trains: At train shows where our group is display our layout.

How I got started: I have been playing with trains since I was a kid.

Favorite Train Topic: Nothing in particular. I enjoy reading and discussing any topic that benefits/effects the model railroading hobby, particularly the "G" scale arena.

Favorite Engine: LGB RhB "Crocodile" electric locomotive;
USA Trains 44 Toner "New Haven" diesel;
USA Trains GP9 "New Haven" diesel;
Hartland Locomotive Works "Mack" diesel.

Favorite Rolling Stock: Nothing particular at this time, I appreciate them all.

Favorite Rail line: New Haven RR

Dream Layout/Equipment: A module "G" layout that is light and compact enough to fit and transport in a Chevy Metro. A New Haven EP5 electric locomotive modeled in "G" scale.

My Biggest Large Scale Bargain: LGB RhB "Crocodile" electric locomotive.

My Large Scale Pet Peeve: None.

Other Interests: Information/Internet technology and golf.
